1. Prohibited content
Do not create, upload or share content that:
- is sexual, sexually suggestive, or fetishizes a minor in any way;
- shows or describes a person under 18 in a sexual or exploitative context;
- uses the face, voice, name or likeness of a real public figure, celebrity or politician;
- impersonates a real person, brand or organization, or falsely implies their endorsement;
- uses another person’s photo without their consent, or depicts non-consensual intimacy;
- harasses, bullies, threatens, defames or incites violence against a person or group;
- promotes hate based on race, ethnicity, religion, disability, sex, gender identity or sexual orientation;
- is fraudulent, deceptive, or intended to manipulate an election or financial market;
- depicts or promotes illegal activity, self-harm, or the sexual exploitation of anyone;
- infringes copyright, trademark or other intellectual property rights.
2. Uploading a face
When you upload an image for a talking video, you must tick the consent box. By doing so you confirm that the image is you, or that you have the explicit permission of the person shown to animate it. You must keep that permission for as long as the video exists.
Do not upload photos of children, people who cannot consent, or anyone who has asked you not to. If someone asks you to remove their image, do it and contact us if you need help.
3. Disclose AI-generated content
Avatars and videos are AI-generated. Where a platform, publisher, employer or law requires disclosure, you must disclose it. Do not use a generated face to pretend to be a real person, to give the impression that a real person said something they did not say, or to create evidence of an event that did not happen.
4. Commercial use
You may use avatars and videos you generate in commercial projects, subject to these rules and our Terms of Service. You may not resell access to AvatarSay, scrape the service, or present it as your own generation platform.
5. Enforcement
We review reports and may remove content, suspend or close accounts, and refuse future use. Credits spent on prohibited content are not refundable. Serious violations — especially those involving minors, non-consensual imagery or credible threats — may be reported to the relevant authorities.
We may use automated prompt and upload checks, but we do not guarantee that every violation will be caught. Reporting a problem helps.
6. Reporting a violation
Email support@avatarsay.com with the subject “Safety report”. Include the account, a link or screenshot if you have one, and a short description of the problem. If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first.
We aim to acknowledge safety reports within one business day and to act quickly where someone’s safety is at risk.
